BrainSnack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
When you create an account, we collect:
• Email address — used for authentication
• Username — displayed in the app and leaderboard
• Usage data — lessons completed, XP earned, streaks, badges
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide and maintain the BrainSnack service
• Track your learning progress and streaks
• Display leaderboard rankings
• Send daily streak reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
• Improve our app and content
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), which complies with industry-standard security practices. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
BrainSnack may send local push notifications to remind you to maintain your daily learning streak. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.
If you choose to use biometric login (fingerprint or Face ID), this data is processed entirely on your device. We do not store or have access to your biometric data.
We use the following third-party services:
• Google Firebase — authentication and data storage (Privacy Policy)
• Google AdMob — advertising (coming soon) (Privacy Policy)
BrainSnack is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
